How do I schedule an estimate for my new windows?

You can schedule a free in-home estimate by filling out a form on our website or by calling us. After we have received your information, a Window World of Upper Cumberland representative will schedule a time that works best for you to discuss your home improvement needs.

Where are Window World windows manufactured?

Our windows are manufactured by Associated Materials Incorporated (AMI), which is located in Akron, Ohio. AMI was founded in 1947 and is one of the largest replacement window manufacturers in the world.

What do I do if I have problems with my new windows?

Should you experience problems with your replacement windows, we can help you quickly resolve most of them when you check out our Virtual Help Center page. Here you can find videos and guides that address some of the most common questions we receive. If you need further assistance, feel free to contact our Upper Cumberland showroom during normal business hours.

What type of warranty is available for my windows?

All of our Window World replacement windows come with a limited lifetime warranty. However a double lifetime “transferable”, lifetime glass breakage, lifetime seal failure, and installation warranties are available.

How can I pay for my new windows, doors and siding?

Window World of Upper Cumberland offers flexible financing options to help you enjoy your new replacement products when you want them. Your Window World expert will work with you to find the best payment plan for your project.

How much do Window World’s replacement windows, doors and siding cost?

During your free in-home estimate, you’ll receive the price of your replacement products. Every project is custom so we are unable to give specific pricing information over the phone or online.

Installation

How long will it take to get my replacement windows?

Your replacement windows will be installed within 4-8 weeks from the date that the final measurements are taken.

How long will it take to get my replacement windows, doors or siding installed?

Most installations will be completed in as little as one day. On the day of your installation, we’ll quickly and carefully replace your old products with your new windows, doors or siding. Once installed, our Upper Cumberland Window World experts will provide a final clean up before reviewing the finished product with you.

Do you install replacement windows year-round? If so, will I lose a lot of heat/cooling at the time of installation?

Window World of Upper Cumberland installs replacement windows year-round. A standard install will take only one day. Our installers install one window at a time and are trained to do whatever necessary to minimize heating/cooling loss. The energy savings from the new windows will recover any additional costs incurred within a few days.

What does “Any Size, Installed” mean?

The term “Any Size” refers to any size replacement double hung window our manufacturer will construct. Currently, this is a minimum width and height of 15″ X 26″ and a maximum of 48″ X 78″. “Installed” refers to the removal of a basic double-hung wooden window and installing your new Window World double-hung replacement window, using the existing wooden stops.

Will the replacement windows be installed from the inside or outside?

The majority of our replacement windows are installed from the inside. In some situations, it may be necessary to install from the outside.

How can I prepare my house for my replacement windows?

Please take down curtains, blinds, or any other window treatments. Security sensors should also be removed and turned off by your security company. Please provide our installation expert with a clear path to the window(s) being replaced by moving anything that may be in the way. It is also advisable to remove all wall decorations from the walls close to the windows as they may fall during removal or installation.

What happens to my old windows?

After installing your new replacement windows we remove every bit of debris from your property and dispose of it properly. If you wish to keep your old windows, glass or storm windows, please notify the installer as soon as he arrives for your installation.
